Each part that leaves the workshops is inspected and checked to meet ISO quality standards and customer’s needs and expectations. This is achieved using computer aided three-dimensional measuring equipment and highly qualified personnel devoted to achieving quality. Non-destructive tests are carried out on pertinent parts to check their quality. Quality control, such as stress rupture testing and other diagnoses, may also be performed on customer parts upon request.
Quality control in welding is performed by a supervisor, the engineering department certified in welding and inspectors certified by the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB).
Dodec’s personnel are qualified to work on almost any types of materials that may be required by customers.
The employees get continual training to acquire the latest technology in quality control and to update their knowledge for the products they fabricate.
Dodec applies a quality management system that meets ISO9001: 2008 standard under the QMI. The Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certifies Industries Dodec for standards CSA W47.1S, Division 1 and CSA W47.2 M, Division 3. The Régie du bâtiment du Québec (Quebec building board) also certifies the pressure vessel division under standards ANSI B31.1, ANSI B31.3, ACNOR B-51 and ASME: Section VIII Division 1.
